How do I get matched to a local real estate agent?

Newzip matches you with a vetted real estate agent based on your requirements, timing, budget, location, experience, and personality. While we use algorithms to help us find the agent in our network best fit for your unique needs, our licensed home advisor team ultimately chooses who will be the best fit for you.

How does the cash reward program work?

When you enroll in the program and use a Newzip agent to finalize your transaction, in an eligible state, you will qualify to receive the cash reward based on the home sales price of the property you’re either buying or selling. That amount will be included in your closing disclosure as a credit towards the transaction cost of the purchase. Newzip will work with you, the agent, the loan officer, and title officer to ensure the credit is applied accordingly.

What’s the difference between a home advisor and real estate agent?

A home advisor is an employee of Newzip that is licensed to help you navigate your real estate journey in the early phases of the process. They are here to guide you through every step and ultimately match you to a vetted agent in Newzip’s network. The agent you match with will ultimately be the real estate agent that will help you set up listing alerts, attend showings/open houses, and guide you through the transaction.

What if I’m already working with a real estate agent?

You have to enroll into the program and use a Newzip agent in order to qualify for the cash rewards.

Can I change the real estate agent you match me to?

Absolutely. If you don’t love the agent we matched you with, we will switch to a new agent no questions asked. We’re here to remove the stress of finding an agent right for you.

What if I do not buy or sell a house?

That’s okay, Newzip is there to help you make the decision that’s best for you. There are no fees for the service.

Home buyers who utilize Newzip's agent matching service will receive the cash reward in the form of credit at closing equal to 0.5% of the home sale price. This cash reward is generated from the referral fee real estate agents pay to take part in the Newzip network. In the event that the cash reward exceeds the concessions limit the customer will receive the reward in the form of a check within 30 days of their closing date. Home sellers who utilize Newzip's agent matching service will save 1.5% in the form of a pre-negotiated agent listing fee.
